At viau.artist, you can find online or in-person art classes tailored to your needs. 1-on-1 classes offer more flexibility, while group classes are already arranged for you.

If you do not currently live in Ottawa or cannot come to Ottawa for classes, you are unable to take in-person classes. However, you can sign up for the newsletter and hear if viau.artist starts offering classes in your area.

Group classes offer an intimate classroom experience. With classes no larger than 6 people, you’ll get a weekly session offered in-person or online.

If you’re unsure how to book a group class, you need to fill out the form found on this page called “Group Classes.” Once 2-3 people express interest in the same topic, meeting type, and timeslot, the class information will be sent out to you to confirm your availability. Once everyone confirms, payment for the class will be sent out.

This model offers the most flexibility. Choose the number of classes, the length of the classes and its subject. Choose your schedule according to my calendar with each class being flexible in its day and timeslot. Write down your goal and what you’d like to learn. Together, we’ll build a curriculum based on your needs.

The price range is based on other instructors with my years of experience. With each class, I factor in all major expenses to cover the costs of group or in-person classes. I price classes fairly according to the experience you’re getting, as well as the amount I need to keep running my independent company.

Group classes: Most classes are offered at the Orleans Ottawa Library. However, if the location changes, you will be advised before you register for the service.

1-on-1 classes: Depending on where you live in Ottawa, I can offer to drive to your residence. If you’re not in the driving range I offer, we can meet at a coffee shop, go to a meeting room in a library or meet at a college/university building.
